Course Description:

Open to all boys and girls in 2nd-5th grade. This course will have students working up a ​sweat and moving to the beat of their own drum. Students will embark on a dynamic dance ​journey, exploring the exciting fusion of Hip Hop, Jazz, and Ballroom styles. Through ​engaging lessons and choreography, students will develop coordination, rhythm, ​musicality, and confidence while learning fundamental dance techniques. The semester ​will culminate in a fun-filled performance showcasing their newfound skills and creativity. ​Join this fusion frenzy and earn PE credits!

*Tuesday class will be a 12 week course while Wednesday class will only be 11 weeks.

12 Week Breakdown:

• 1st Month - Introduction of each dance style, their fundamentals, rhythm, and learning ​musicality.
• 2nd Month - Building skills, technique, and choreography.
• 3rd Month - Performance preparations, refine choreography, rehearsals, showcase skills ​in performance, and provide evaluation and feedback.
  

Tuition Per Semester: Tuesdays - $399 or Wednesdays - $369

The cost covers the performance fee that includes costumes, performance space, and A/V.

Students will be able to showcase their dance skills in a performance on an evening the ​week of November 18th-22nd.

Note: Students will be graded upon class participation and practicing on their own time. ​They will be responsible for coming to class prepared with comfortable clothes, close-​toed shoes, and water.
