Who We are
Enlighten SoCal Education seeks ignite the light of learning within the hearts of its students. We believe in preparing each of our students to become the best version of themselves by equipping them with the necessary tools and knowledge to go out and be the light. Rather than merely preparing students for tests, we aim to enlighten students by fostering their natural curiosity, engaging their curriculum, and provide optimum learning experiences that captivate their interests to develop skillful and knowledgeable young boys and girls.
Enlighten SoCal Educator and Founder
Kelly Loaiza
Kelly Loaiza has always had a passion for kids and learning. Her love for kids is evident in her dedication to taking care of children throughout her career, with her first job as a babysitter. Since then, she has gone on to serve at her church as a childcare supervisor, ran the kids klub at LA Fitness, nannied, and created her own tutoring business. She discovered her love for learning and education when she was taken out of public school to be homeschooled in the sixth grade. Being able to learn in a way that complemented her learning style and engaged her interests, made her actually desire what she once undesired, school. After earning a Bachelor’s degree with the honorary title of Summa Cum Laude in Computer Science and Business, at Liberty University, she decided to take these passions to their realization in helping other students love learning.
Knowledge once gained casts a light beyond its own immediate boundaries.

What We Value
At Enlighten SoCal Education we uphold and implement the values of: integrity, responsibility, respect, and collaboration.
Integrity stands at our core, where honesty and fairness is to guide every teacher and students’s actions. Equally important, responsibility is then fostered to encourage students to become leaders and take ownership of their own learning and personal endeavors. Respect is woven into the fabric of all our interactions, creating a collaborative environment where diverse perspectives and ideas are valued. Collaboration is key, as we learn from and support each other through teamwork and problem-solving skills. In doing so we leverage the strengths of each individual. Critical thinking is encouraged, equipping students with the ability to question, analyze, and form their own informed opinions, solutions, and beliefs.
These values are the cornerstones of our learning experience, preparing students to thrive and become leaders and visionaries.
What We Do
With the drastic changes we are seeing in our world today, including our education, Enlighten SoCal strives to go back to the basics of what is being taught. Accompanying the accelerated advancement of technology since the 21st century, with it now being at our fingertips, American education has simultaneously seen a striking decline in school enrollment, competency in math and literacy, as well as proficiency in academic standards and testing. Additionally, in the five years I have been teaching, I have seen a great influx of students becoming more and more disinterested and apathetic to learning. We desire to change that within the hearts of each of our students by engaging with them, stimulating their curiosity, and teaching them the real life applications of what they are taught. We believe in teaching students the core knowledge essential for their success and, ultimately, find the fun in learning and academic achievements.
Why We Do It
Enlighten SoCal Education believes in pouring into the future generations to come. It is our duty and responsibility to pass the flame on. We want young boys and girls to have a bright future ahead, and to have so requires them to see they are the bright future. Equipping and guiding students to research and discover truth in a world full of misinformation is one of our top priorities. We, also, believe in teaching students how to apply themselves and become independent and critical thinkers. Teaching students these skills is essential in developing their ability to make informed decisions and communicate their thoughts and ideas in a way that is clear and impactful. They are able to explain their reasoning and participate in discussions that are both interesting and productive. These skills are crucial for them to thrive in both their personal lives and in their future careers. This is why we are dedicated to teaching this next generation. We want them to be excited about learning and see learning in a whole new light.
